Care on Call has been in business since February 2005 when a small group of Registered Nurses with a strong ‘quality’ focus took over an existing business. Since that time there has been rapid growth of the company particularly in the area of community care and services to the disability sector.
Our growing team shares a strong commitment to customer-focused service, person-centred care, staff education, and the continuous improvement of our quality systems. Care on Call ensures that each support worker has the skills, knowledge and experience to meet the complexity of needs. We provide on-the-job education and support through our Field Supervisor and ongoing monthly education programs for all staff, ensuring they are up to date with modern trends. We continually try to identify possible ‘gaps’ in education through client feedback and staff performance appraisals, with a view to maximising the quality of our training.
Care on Call has an excellent record of providing effective services to residents of the ACT and surrounding areas. We are not another ‘out of Canberra’ call centre — we're local and proud of it! We work closely and collaboratively on the delivery of services with a wide range of stakeholders including private clients, community organisations, medical and other health professionals and their representative organisations. We provide services to people with a disability, aged citizens, residential aged-care, and community organisations. In fact, Care on Call is now the ‘preferred provider’ of support and services for many of these organisations, with a reputation for providing services in a flexible, responsive manner, and within allocated budgets. We also support many families in crisis, covering a wide range of complex issues and needs.
